    FAQ

In the realm of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system, a remarkable tool known as VA Online Scheduling (formerly the Veteran Appointment Request (VAR) App) has emerged. This innovative platform empowers veterans to take control of their healthcare journey by enabling them to self-schedule and request primary care appointments effortlessly. Not only does it provide a seamless experience for veterans, but it also offers a range of services beyond primary care, such as audiology, optometry, and outpatient mental health appointments, depending on the capabilities of each facility.

One of the critical advantages of VA Online Scheduling is the convenience it brings to veterans’ lives. By leveraging technology, veterans can schedule their appointments at their own pace and from the comfort of their homes. They no longer need to endure long wait times on the phone or make time-consuming visits to the VA facility for appointment requests. With just a few clicks, veterans can secure their desired time slots and reduce the hassle traditionally associated with appointment scheduling.

VA Online Scheduling is a service provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to facilitate the scheduling of medical appointments for veterans. VA Online Scheduling is primarily available for use by eligible veterans who are enrolled in the VA health care system.

The B. David Company enlisted the services of Price Reporter, Inc. to setup our DOD EMALL account. We are a second generation family owned company and were uncertain what would be required to complete this task. I fully recommend Price Reporter, Inc. to any company that is looking for assistance with their Government business endeavors. They were and have continued to be extremely helpful. We will continue to rely on Price Reporter, Inc. for future projects.

Steven Ribnick, Sales & Operations Analyst, B. David Company, Inc.
    Testimonials

Price Reporter recently helped us with our 3rd GSA contract, the 2nd they did with us. It was the fastest we’ve ever been through the process with GSA. Each step was easy because the ground work was done before we were asked to do anything. Our pricing verification phase went smooth and quickly and both our contracts were accepted without rejection, with minimal negotiations with contracting.

George McCullough, Director of Sales and Business Development, Darley
    Testimonials

We first learned about the DOD EMALL a couple years ago from Price Reporter. We decided to move forward on it in 2016. I would recommend them based on the following items:

    • They split the payment. Half upfront and the other half is only charged should DOD EMALL contract be awarded to you.
    • Adding Price Reporter, specifically Andrey Karpov and Igor London, as agents on our GSA schedule streamlined the process. They were able to communicate with our GSA Contracting Officer to ensure that we received what we needed for DOD EMALL from GSA. This saved time on my end and sped up the process.
    • They provide a list of everything you need. Andrey and the rest of his team are meticulous and understand the process on how to get a DOD EMALL contract and thus we benefited from their expertise.

These are a few of the reasons why I would recommend Price Reporter, Inc. Thank you!

    Testimonials

For the past 10 years, Price Reporter has been providing us with exceptional service for the maintaining of our GSA office supplies contract. They have updated our files on a very timely basis. They have provided modifications when required. For a number of years, they had been giving us a price algorithm where each of our items were priced more than our cost and a penny below the next competitor. A very unique position that gave us thousands of government orders – that was prior to the GSA FSSI BPA.
And for all the service given, their cost was far less than any other consulting firm that we had contacted or worked with over the years.
I would highly recommend their service to any small business that is either interested in getting into the federal government arena or who wants to have their contract maintained at a most highly professional level.
Thank you for supporting a VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS.

We looked around for a reputable company to help us acquire a GSA contract for Muzeek World Intl., Inc. After looking around we were unsuccessful in finding a good company. By chance, one of our colleagues recommended Price Reporter, Inc., so we called them up. We are extremely grateful for all your help in guiding us through the whole process, as this was all new to us. Without the help of you and the rest of the team at Price Reporter, it would have been impossible to achieve our approval – or at the very least – it would have taken a very long time. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Price Reporter, Inc. to anyone needing assistance in government contracts. Your knowledge and assistance was invaluable and very much appreciated, and we look forward to a continued excellent relationship.

Without Price Reporter contacting me at the right time, GSA would probably cancel my contract already. The CO said that she contacted us back in November of 2016, but got no response. Then Price Reporter called me and helped me with all the things needed and I followed his advise. That’s how we found out that our contract will be terminated soon, but had enough time to take the corrective action. The CO called us recently and it looks like they will extend our contract life. Thanks so much for your timely follow up – Price Reporter gave our Government sales a new hope!

Doing Business with the Department of Veterans Affairs

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is a vast network that extends across hospitals, clinics, regional offices, and national cemeteries. This network requires a broad spectrum of products and services, opening up numerous opportunities for businesses nationwide.

The VA purchases a variety of supply products and services from national, regional, and local sources. This wide-ranging procurement activity is a testament to the diverse needs of the VA and the opportunities it presents for businesses of all sizes and sectors.

One of the key resources for businesses is the Veterans Health Administration’s Medical Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV) program. This program seeks to provide a reliable, uninterrupted source of medical supplies to support the delivery of healthcare to Veterans.

The Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics (OPAL) is another valuable resource, offering outlined information and additional resources for businesses working with the VA.

Subcontracting is another avenue for businesses to explore. The VA provides access to prime contractor contact information and contract details, including value, dates, locations, NAICS Codes, and Product Service Codes. Small Business Subcontracting Plans are also available for those looking to delve into this area.

Doing business with the VA is not just about contributing to a noble cause; it’s also about exploring new growth opportunities for your business. At Price Reporter, we can help companies become a VA contractor or assist existing contract holders in managing and growing their VA contract.

The VA’s extensive network and diverse needs mean there are opportunities for businesses in many different sectors. Are you ready to explore these opportunities? Let’s start a conversation about how your business can contribute to and benefit from the VA’s mission.

    VA SCHEDULING

Sell medical equipment and supplies, drugs and pharmaceuticals, or patient care services to federal agencies via a Veteran Affair Federal Supply Schedule or simply GSA VA. Price Reporter helps you obtain a VA Schedule easier and with minimum effort from your side. Contact Price Reporter now to learn what VA scheduling opportunities there are currently.

    WHAT IS VETERAN AFFAIRS

The Department of Veterans Affairs provides a comprehensive system of assistance for Veterans, created to care for those who have served the country. Within the Department, the VA Federal Supply Schedule Service Program was created to streamline federal acquisition of various medical supplies and equipment as well as healthcare services, under the patronage of the GSA.

Since VA is the primary department for procuring healthcare equipment, services and supplies via the GSA MAS Schedule, pursuing VA contract awards seems  logical and potentially profitable for a company offering one of these.

    ADVANTAGES OF VA SCHEDULE

Access to the billion dollar market

Veteran Affairs reports more than $40 billion in contracts awarded annually, and of that sum nearly $3 billion is spent through GSA VA Schedules. For instance, just one category – Medical Equipment and Supplies (Schedule 65 IIA, see below) resulted in more than $300 million of contracts awarded. Your business can be a part of this market too!

    Long-term contracts

As soon as you are awarded, you can sell your products or services via the VA Schedule for 5 years. And then there are three subsequent renewals of 5 years each, totalling to 20 years of solid government sales. Note that save for a few exceptions, the terms of the contract do not change during the entire life of the Schedule contract.

    Fixed prices

The negotiated price in the contract won’t change. Of course, there are some exceptions, but in general, if you are awarded, your profits are secured for the entire terms of validity of your contract. Plus, most VA contracts are Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts, so as long as you are approved as a contractor, hassle-free sales are assured.

Do business with the most trustworthy client

The U.S. government is known as one of the most reliable and diligently paying clients in the world. Working for the government is not only profitable, but is healthy for your business reputation. Your VA contract is a double win, because it benefits you both on the federal and the commercial markets!
