Price Reporter recently helped us with our 3rd GSA contract, the 2nd they did with us. It was the fastest we've ever been through the process with GSA. Each step was easy because the ground work was done before we were asked to do anything. Our pricing verification phase went smooth and quickly and both our contracts were accepted without rejection, with minimal negotiations with contracting.

      Frequently Asked Questions
How to publish service categories on GSA Advantage?

Service categories, as well as products could be published on GSA Advantage. At the same time, the most common practice is to present services as a part of the “Terms and Conditions” text file. GSA Advantage is an e-commerce platform, designed to make seamless product purchases. Publish services on GSA Advantage are not required but could be useful just for marketing purposes, in order to create more visibility. “Term and Conditions” file can either be uploaded using the SIP program or via Price Reporter or Sensoft EDI solutions

How to publish product photos on GSA Advantage

GSA Advantage allows contractors to publish product images. Images provide buyers with valuable product information and are a very important factor for buyers’ consideration, while making decisions. Vendors that publish good images have a much better chance of selling their products, and have a competitive advantage over those who ignore such images. Images could be uploaded to GSA Advantage along with the catalog upload, using either SIP or EDI solutions. EDI solutions provided by Price Reporter and Sensoft allow vendors to provide not only image files, but also web links to these files.

Do I have to publish service categories on GSA Advantage?

You don’t have to publish service categories as a line item on GSA Advantage. Instead, you can include them in your “Terms and Conditions” file. There is still a value in publishing your services on GSA Advantage, as it increases their visibility.

Can I publish my GSA catalog as a text file?

GSA Advantage is an ecommerce platform designed primarily for Government buyers to conduct product purchases in relatively small quantities. You must publish your catalog, with all the products you sell on GSA Advantage. As far as service categories, you have a choice to publish them on either GSA Advantage or in the “Text Term and Conditions” file. While publishing them on GSA Advantage increases their visibility, it is still common practice to include service categories just in the T&C file, and publish the file using SIP or EDI.

How to upload Terms and Conditions file to GSA Advantage and GSA eLibrary?

To publish Terms and Conditions on GSA Advantage and GSA eLibrary, you can either use the SIP program or the EDI solution, provided by Price Reporter or Sensoft. The text file could be uploaded either along with the GSA catalog or just by itself.

How can I upload GSA catalog modification to GSA Advantage?

GSA requires that all modifications in your GSA Contract must be reflected on your GSA Advantage catalog. While you have a choice between SIP and EDI when you publish the whole catalog, you must use EDI to upload only the modified items. SIP does not support this functionality. EDI Solutions provided by Price Reporter or Sensoft allow to communicate to the GSA Advantage those items that are either deleted, new or changed.

When Should I Upload My Price List to GSA Advantage?

The GSA requires that all modifications in your GSA Contract must be uploaded within 30 days after your GSA contract modification approval.

Can I publish photos on GSA Advantage from website links?

Some solutions on the market provide such functionality. The images will be downloaded from the links and sent to GSA Advantage. Price Reporter and Sensoft EDI solutions could be used to combine image files with those that are available through website links.
