Multiple Award Schedule (MAS)

A consolidation of purchasing options involving many contractors where a federal buyer has the ability to view and correspond with contractors on an industry-based GSA Schedule.

Types of MAS Contracts
  • Employment for more than 45,000 of disabled people in the U.S.
  • Fast and simplified procurement of administrative, custodial, facility management, food services, as well as clothing, textile and individual equipment, electronic components, office supplies and furnishings, materials and more.
  • Fair prices for government agencies.
  • Service Contracts: These contracts are for providing various services to the VA, such as medical services, IT services, maintenance, and other professional services.
  • Set-Aside Contracts: These contracts are reserved for specific groups, such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB).
  • Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP): These procedures are used for small purchases, typically under the simplified acquisition threshold, to streamline the procurement process.
  • Prime Vendor Contracts: These contracts are designed to provide high-volume medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products to VA medical centers through a single source.
