Office of General Counsel (OGC) is an integral department within General Services Administration (GSA), primarily responsible for offering legal guidance and representation to GSA officials. Conceived to ensure the proper implementation of GSA’s statutory responsibilities, OGC’s role in maintaining the legal integrity of the agency’s operations is pivotal. However, it is important to note that OGC does not handle all of the agency’s legal activities. The legal undertakings of Office of Inspector General and Civilian Board of Contract Appeals are exceptions to OGC’s jurisdiction.
