Price Reporter helps businesses apply for TXMAS contracts and manage existing awards. Our services include application preparation, catalog and pricing updates, and contract modifications.
Already have a TXMAS contract? We can assist with a specific update or ongoing maintenance, including contracts obtained through another consultant.
The Texas Multiple Award Schedule (TXMAS) program allows Texas to use existing, competitively awarded government contracts as the basis for its own contracts. The Texas Comptroller’s Statewide Procurement Division administers the program. A qualifying GSA contract or another acceptable government contract may serve as the base contract. Texas Comptroller
TXMAS customers include Texas state agencies and eligible Texas SmartBuy members, such as participating cities, counties, and school districts. Texas SmartBuy is the online purchasing system where buyers can find and order contracted products and services. Texas Comptroller
For companies pursuing Texas government customers, TXMAS offers an additional way for those customers to purchase from them. Before applying, it is worth reviewing which buyers you intend to serve and whether your offering qualifies.
We start by reviewing your existing contract and the products or services you want to offer in Texas. This helps identify eligibility issues and missing documents before application work begins.
TXMAS does not accept every product category, service, or base contract. Its exclusions include information technology, engineering, consulting, and certain other professional services. The state also reserves the right to reject a proposed base contract. Texas Comptroller
We examine your proposed base contract, its remaining term, pricing, and the scope of the offering. We also discuss your plans for Texas sales so you can decide whether the application is worth pursuing.
You receive an explanation of any issues that need to be resolved and the information needed to prepare the package.
The TXMAS application requires an Offer Packet, a catalog, and supporting documents. Texas Comptroller
We assemble and review the required materials, check for inconsistencies, and work with your team to fill in missing information. Before submission, we identify any outstanding questions and documents that require your approval or signature.
We review the products or services proposed for your TXMAS contract against the supporting contract documents. This includes checking descriptions, part numbers, units of measure, and pricing, as applicable.
Our team prepares the catalog information and flags discrepancies that need to be corrected before submission.
We assist with submission and prepare responses to requests for clarification or additional documentation. You remain involved where a response requires a business decision or information only your team can provide.
The state makes the award decision; submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Texas Comptroller
Price Reporter also maintains and modifies TXMAS contracts after award.
You may need to remove discontinued items, submit a price change, correct catalog information, or update your company’s contact details. We review the requested change, prepare the documentation, and coordinate submission and follow-up.
Our maintenance services cover the following work, subject to your contract’s requirements:
| Type of update | What we do |
|---|---|
| Product and service additions | Review proposed additions against the contract scope and prepare the supporting documents and catalog changes. |
| Product and service deletions | Prepare requests to remove discontinued items or offerings you no longer intend to sell. |
| Pricing modifications | Review proposed price increases, reductions, or other adjustments and prepare the required justification and pricing files. |
| Catalog corrections | Update descriptions, part numbers, units of measure, images, and other catalog details, as applicable. |
| Administrative changes | Prepare updates to contact information, addresses, ordering instructions, and other contract details. |
| Base-contract and term changes | Review changes to the underlying contract and assist with related TXMAS documentation, including extension or renewal work where available. |
We track which changes are being prepared, which have been submitted, and which have been completed. This gives your team a record of what still needs attention.
For ongoing maintenance, we also discuss administrative and reporting responsibilities and specify which tasks are included in our work.
When your TXMAS contract is based on a GSA contract, we review changes to both contracts as part of planning the work.
For example, you may have a GSA price modification in progress while your TXMAS catalog still contains the previous pricing. Or you may be removing a discontinued product line and need to identify the related TXMAS updates. We compare the documents and determine what needs to be prepared for each contract.
Price Reporter’s GSA services include modifications, catalog preparation, pricing changes, and contract administration. Clients using those services can discuss adding TXMAS work to the same engagement. pricereporter.com
We check the requirements of each contract separately rather than treat a GSA update as completion of the TXMAS work.
You do not need to have obtained your TXMAS contract through Price Reporter to use our services.
We begin with your current contract documents, catalog, recent modifications, and any open correspondence. The first task may be a single pricing update or a larger review of items that have not been maintained.
After reviewing the files, we agree on the work to be completed and request any missing records. We can then prepare the outstanding changes and discuss whether you need recurring support.
Price Reporter works with manufacturers, resellers, and service providers on GSA catalog preparation, modifications, submissions, and ongoing contract management. That work includes detailed product files and pricing documentation, not just application forms. pricereporter.com
For TXMAS assignments, we define the scope before work begins: the documents we will prepare, the information your team must supply, and the approvals needed from you. Our updates explain what has been completed, what is pending, and where we need your input.
You can discuss an application, an individual modification, or ongoing maintenance. The proposed services and fees will reflect the work your contract needs.
