GSA is preparing to provide personalized Tableau dashboards through its Delivery Scorecard Initiative, giving contractors greater visibility into delivery performance.
The dashboards will bring delivery scores, supporting order-level data, and historical performance together in one place, with data available to download.
What happens next?
Once dashboard access is available, the GSA IT team will send a follow-up email with the access link and additional instructions.
What should contractors do once access is available?
- Review delivery scores and supporting data regularly.
- Confirm that the appropriate team members can access the dashboard.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes or catalog information.
- Continue submitting timely order statuses through the required systems.
Pay attention to the reporting period
GSA will send reminder emails near the beginning of each month. However, the previous month’s data becomes more accurate about one week into the current month.
GSA’s example: October data is more accurate after November 8.
The previous month’s data is the most recent and accurate data available for review, so keep that timing in mind when evaluating performance.
Why this matters for contract management
GSA states that scorecard performance may be considered during contract administration, including option-year renewals.
Your Contracting Officer/Specialist team is copied on scorecard communications. If notification contacts need to change, contact that team to update them.
Our recommendation: Make scorecard review part of your monthly contract-management routine. Assign responsibility for reviewing the data, investigating recurring delivery issues, and coordinating any needed process or catalog improvements.
