MAS Consolidation plan by September 30, 2021

GSA MAS Consolidation Phase 3

As part of the MAS Schedule Consolidation process, GSA has reached out to contractors requesting that a plan be submitted by September 30, 2021, outlining which of their schedules will be maintained as the primary and which ones will be merged. Since then, the deadline has been pushed up to December 31st, 2021.

Check if you Qualify to be a GSA Contractor

GSA’s ultimate goal for contractors with multiple schedules is to have them consolidated into one containing all of their product and/or service offerings under one DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) number or UEI (Unique Entity Identifier).

This MAS Consolidation plan will help determine each contractor’s surviving contract.

There are many factors to consider such as which schedule(s) should be retired, schedule expiration date, revenue generated, as well as the actual modifications for SIN and schedule consolidations that will need to be submitted and renegotiated, among other things. For many, this may prove to be a challenging task, especially if your company has several schedules that include multiple SINs.

Providing such a plan in a timely fashion to your contracting officers will enable them to better assist you with the schedule consolidation process.

Once your company’s schedules are consolidated, contractors will have only one contracting officer to work with as opposed to having to manage multiple relationships and correspondences for each respective schedule. The goal is to streamline the process and it all begins with completing and submitting a consolidation plan before the deadline.
